In ancient cultures, turquoise (a.k.a. "Turkish stone) was used as a protection amulet. Additionally, turquoise was also the sign of wealth.

If a friend of yours was to present you with this lovely gem, it is said to bring peace and good fortune to your home. Turquoise is also a mark of friendship.

Rather than turquoise attuning to the owner (like most), the person who owns it needs to learn how to attune to the gemstone. Add copper to turquoise to strengthen it's power.

Turquoise also presents a multitude or healing properties, including the ability to neutralize overacidity, increase growth and muscular strength, alleviate pain and cramps, detoxifies, and has anti-inflammatory capabilities. Additionally, turquoise has been said to alleviate stomach issues and viral infections.

Wear the gemstone on your solar plexus for the best results.

Again, if you are a December baby, we want to thank you for coming to the BC Custom Jewelry website and we hope you have an absolutely fabulous birthday!
